The HDR to SDR LUT Pack consists of 36 LUTs that convert PQ ST2084 Rec.2020 based HDR footage to SDR, including output to Rec.709 Gamma 2.4 for TVs, Rec.709 Gamma 2.2 for Computer Displays and the ITU-R BT.709 specification Scene referred output. Multiple LUTs are available covering different brightness peaks, of 1000, 2000 and 4000 nits.

Whether it’s PQ HDR footage shot on a Mobile phone, HDR source material that needs to be quickly down-converted to SDR or even a YouTube HDR video that requires a proper HDR to SDR conversion LUT embedded, the HDR to SDR LUT Pack is the ideal utility to get the job done.

Description

The HDR to SDR LUT Pack consists of 36 LUTs that convert PQ ST2084 Rec.2020 based HDR footage to SDR.

Whether it’s PQ HDR footage shot on a Mobile phone, HDR source material that needs to be quickly down-converted to SDR or even a YouTube HDR video that requires a proper HDR to SDR LUT embedded, the HDR to SDR LUT Pack is the ideal utility to get the job done.

The Pack includes 1000 nit, 2000 nit and 4000 nit conversion LUTs that will output to Rec.709 and various gamma options, including Gamma 2.2, Gamma 2.4 and ITU-R BT.709 Scene.

The LUTs consist of two variants, one with middle gray at 15 cd/m2 based on the ACES implementation and one with middle gray at 26 cd/m2 based on the ITU-R recommendations.

The Pack also includes LUTs covering both Data levels and Video Legal ranges.

All LUTs are 33 point precision and are provided as .cube files for maximum compatibility.
